The Department of Landscape Architecture is seeking a new Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture to join the faculty who is committed to advancing the discipline and profession of Landscape Architecture starting Fall 2023. We welcome candidates who can bring one or more of the following expertise: systemic ecological planning and design, ecology and planting design, ecological or human health, climate change and resilience, environmental and social justice, advanced methods/technologies of site engineering and materials, green infrastructure, and/or other climate change-related issues. This new Tenure-Track Assistant Professor will teach landscape architecture courses in both our Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture programs. We seek a colleague who is committed to student-centered teaching while pursuing scholarship in their area of specialization. We are especially interested in candidates with a demonstrated ability or potential to actively engage in and support the Inclusive Excellence of our academic community. An advanced degree in landscape architecture or field(s) related to the position description is preferred. Candidates must hold at least one degree in landscape architecture.
